Retro North is a retro games expo/event where you can play, trade and meet fellow retro games fans. Tickets are £9 and it's being held in Glossop, near Charlesworth, Derbyshire (It's actually closer to Stockport than Derby) The Pickford Brothers, creators of Wetrix for the N64 (among others) will be present, as will Cronosoft, one of if not the last remaining software house still producing games for C64, VIC-20 and ZX Spectrum. There will be a bar, catering facilities and competitions, and all proceeds go to the "Diabetes UK" charity. It's a worthy cause, so if you don't live too far away I'd recommend a trip to Charlesworth on 24th August 2007. More details on the Retro North Site |
